Make Way for Movement

This dance-based workshop explores how to create movement based on music and collaboration. We'll practice observing and allowing our movement to be influenced by others, then work together to create a story through dance. We'll also draw pictures to practice translating movement to paper.

Workshop leader Jade McGee is a Senior at CU studying Dance, with an emphasis on Improvisation and Street Styles. From Cleveland, Ohio, Jade has been performing in the arts since elementary school and is thrilled to have the opportunity to share her knowledge and love of dance in collaboration with Denver KidsFringe. After Summer Graduation, find Jade performing in Hair the Musical at Miners Alley Playhouse from August 5th to October 2nd.
