There’s No "I" In Team: Building Ensemble Through Devised Theater
Working as a cohesive group is essential in theatre! This workshop explores the importance of ensemble through group-based exercises where kids will work together to achieve something, such as collaborating to make a shape with their bodies or creating tableaus to tell a story. It will culminate in a fun short devised theater piece that the kids create themselves!
Workshop Leader: Samantha Worth is a Denver native and graduate of Drake University's BFA Musical Theater program. She is a Denver School of the Arts alum and teaches voice and acting lessons at Factory Five Five in Denver. She also music directed Factory's production of James and the Giant Peach earlier this year. In 2021, she joined the Missoula Children's Theater's national tour of Johnny Appleseed. She has also worked with the Denver Center Theatre Academy on their summer camps for several summers.
